Lost & Found Introduction

The Lost & Found app can be used to notify staff of items reported missing or those left by guests, then used to track the results from the desktop.

Accessing the App

To access the Lost & Found app on the desktop, log in to Quore, then click on the App Switcher in the top-left corner. Select Lost & Found.

From the Quore mobile app, tap the App Switcher in the bottom-right corner. Tap Lost & Found.

Entering an Item

There are two types of items that can be entered into the Lost & Found app. Add Lost items reported by hotel guests. Add Found items when hotel staff discovers an item before it is reported lost. You can add an item from both the desktop and mobile. Click here to learn how.

Editing an Item

You can edit lost items from either the Quore desktop app or the Quore mobile app.

Open the item from the Lost & Found home page.
Select the three-dot menu.
Edit the item details as needed.
Save your changes.

To add a comment to an item from the Quore mobile app, tap the + icon next to the Comments field.

Closing a Lost & Found Item

When a guest has claimed an item, the item is no longer at the property, or it has not been found within your property’s designated timeframe, close the item so it no longer appears on the home page. Use the Search field to quickly find a specific item.

In the Quore Mobile App

Open the item from the Found or Lost tab.
Tap Close Item.
Select the appropriate option from the Action menu.
Add any notes, if needed.
Tap Close Item to save.

In the Quore Desktop App

Locate the item and select Close.
Choose the appropriate option from the Action menu.
Add any notes, if needed.
Select Close Item to save.

Managing Overdue Items

Items that remain open for more than 90 days are automatically marked as Overdue and identified by a red clock icon on the desktop. To view only overdue items, use the Show Overdue Only filter in the Search bar on either the Quore desktop app or Quore mobile app.
