In this article, you will learn how to use the tabs found in different parts of the Sales app to effectively add group blocks, negotiated rates, and meetings/events.
The Sales app tabs relate to:
- Group Blocks
- Negotiated Rates
- Meetings/Events
Below we outline how to use these tabs for each booking type.
How to Use Group Blocks
Within a group block you will see the following tabs:
- Overview: Shows you the property, arrival and departure dates, travel agency, rate plan, IATA, pseudo city code, Salesperson, on-site contact, contact method, authorized signers, and date the group block was created. The information you see here depends on the information entered during the initial creation of the group block. Read more about creating a group block here.
- Group Block: In this tab, you will add further information about the group block including room types, number of rooms, and group rates. This information will feed into the Contract tab. For more on setting up your contract templates, read the Sales setup article.
- Meeting Room: Use this tab to enter what meeting rooms are associated with this group block/booking. Select the room, setup, date, start time, and end time from the dropdown menu. Type in the number of people and the rate. Click the green Add button when done. You can repeat this process as many times as needed until all meeting rooms have been added. Keep up with scheduled meetings using the MRC page button. Learn more about the MRC page in the Sales Introduction.
- F&B Orders: If there are any F&B orders associated with the meeting rooms you entered in the previous tab, add them here. Enter the room type, menu items, date, start and end times, number of people, and rate/cost per person. Click the green Add button when finished with the entry. Repeat as needed until all F&B orders have been added. In order for F&B items to appear on the dropdown, you must first enter them in the Settings page. - BEO: In this tab, you can load a BEO contract from your templates. Meeting rooms and F&B orders entered in the respective tabs will populate in the BEO. Click here to learn more about creating a BEO contract template.
- Billing: This tab will display the deposit amount, cancelation policy, room billing method, and billing address.
- Contract: From this tab, you can upload contracts and send those contracts directly from Quore. Before using this tab, be sure to enter your contract templates in the Settings page. Click here to learn more about creating a contract template.
- Trace: This is where you will enter a trace related to this group block and view existing traces. Click here to learn more about entering traces.
- Resume: The Resume tab is used to communicate important information to other departments who do not have access to the Sales app. For example, instructions concerning housekeeping should be typed into the Housekeeping field. The information entered in this tab will feed into the Resume section of the Directory app, which all users have access to. This information will only show for Definite bookings and will appear 30 days before the start date all the way through five days after the end date.
How to Use Negotiated Rates
Within negotiated rates, you will notice the following tabs:
- Overview: This tab relays information entered during the creation of the negotiated rate. This information includes the property, arrival date, departure date, PMS code, corporate rate code, travel agency, rate plan, IATA, pseudo city code, salesperson, on-site contract, contact method, and information on when the rate was created and by whom.
- Negotiated Rate: In this tab, you will add the room night commitment for the negotiated rate, as well as corporate room rates. Click here to learn more about creating seasonal rates and blackout dates.
- Billing: This tab will show information on the cancelation policy, billing method, and billing address.

How to Use Meetings/Events
Within a meeting/event booking, you will see the following tabs:
