Logs Introduction

The Logs app is available on both the desktop and mobile versions of Quore.

In this article, you will learn how to best utilize your Log Book and Log Sheets.

Dashboard

Your Quore’s Log Book is available on the Dashboard located on the default home screen. To maintain organization and to help each user know when they have a new entry to read, the Dashboard Log Book marks unread entries with a blue dot. Your property’s Log Book entries will be sorted by most recent at the top- this includes new replies. If you need to view older entries, visit the Logs app.

Logs App

Use the Logs app view to view all Log Book entires. Use the Keyword Search and Period Filter to easily locate the logs you are looking for.

Click into an entry from the Dashboard or Logs app to view its content including who wrote it, who has read it, and who has replied. This helps to streamline communication and increase transparency and accountability at the hotel.

Note: Comments in the Log Book are viewable to all Quore users. Personal and direct messages should be sent via the Mail app.

Log Sheets on the Desktop

Log Sheets are accessible from the desktop Dashboard (within the Actions section) and Logs app. The Log Sheet page in the Logs app allows you to view all recorded logs and data related to those logs, including cash count log sheets, mail check registers, and more.

Note: New log sheets can’t be created at this time, but creating a checklist in the Inspections app may serve as a good alternative solution if we don’t have the log sheet you’re looking for.

Mobile

To access the mobile Logs app, log in to the Quore mobile app, tap the App Switcher in the bottom-right corner of your screen, and tap on the Logs icon. The mobile Logs app shows you your desk log and allows you to add new log entries. This way, you can create, reply to, and view current logs from your smartphone or other mobile device.

Note: While the Log Book is available on both the desktop and mobile app, Log Sheets are accessible from the desktop only.
